On October 14th, 2024, in Vinh City, Nghe An, the Network of trailblazing Women Leaders WELEAD (WeLead), in collaboration with the VCCI Nghe An - Ha Tinh - Quang Binh, organized a seminar titled "Common Emotional Disorders - Recognition, Solutions, and Effective Prevention." This event was held to commemorate Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day on October 13 and Vietnamese Women's Day on October 20, within the framework of the program “Enhancing Mental Health for Women Entrepreneurs.” This program was established by WeLead with support from IPP Group (Imex Pan Pacific Group) and is based on activities from the regional project “Promoting Women Entrepreneurship: Building a Gender-responsive Business Ecosystem (CWE),” conducted by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN-ESCAP) with Vietnam's primary government partner, the Agency for Enterprise Development - Ministry of Planning and Investment.

The seminar aimed to help female entrepreneurs recognize and actively take care of their mental health by providing them with the knowledge to identify signs of psychological distress, adapt, and find solutions to maintain calm and composure in managing both their businesses and family life. Nearly 80 delegates attended, including representatives from associations, relevant agencies, organizations, and female entrepreneurs, managers, and household business owners.

In her remarks, Madam Minh affirmed, “Worries, pressures, and even stress are always present in our daily lives. Recognizing, accepting, adapting to, and overcoming them helps build personal resilience, making us stronger and more mature. Ideally, proactive prevention – clean eating, fresh air, relaxation through sports, positive thinking, meaningful sharing, and engaging in positive groups – will equip us with good physical and mental health, enabling us to steer our businesses through challenges and towards sustainable development.”
