WeLead - Network of Trailblazing Women Leaders and delegation of female entrepreneurs has participated in the Global Summit for Women 2024 (GSW) in Madrid, Spain, where government leaders, businessmen and community activists from various countries and territories around the world converged.
The theme of the summit: "Women: Energizing Economies of the Future" was highlighted by renowned speakers from various fields, emphasizing the role of women and technology in promoting public-private partnerships to create equal opportunities for all genders, especially for women and girls.
Key global concerns such as enhancing health, including physical, mental and corporate health, were extensively discussed. Numerous topics were addressed in forums such as the Government Leaders Forum, the Male CEO Forum, focusing on policy initiatives from governments and practical initiatives from male CEOs to remove barriers and create equal opportunities for all genders, particularly women and girls. Additionally, ideas supporting women entrepreneurship, financial empowerment for women, women in corporate boards, cross-border business, and the crucial issue of domestic violence were also discussed with the strong message of 'End Violence!'
On the sidelines of the Summit (GSW), WeLead has also organized a business networking program and Ceremony of Business Collaboration Agreement with the Vietnamese Women's Forum in Europe (VWFE) in Madrid. The event was attended by Mr. Doan Thanh Song, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam in Spain along with his wife and Mdm. Irene Natividad, Strategic Advisor of WeLead and the Chairwoman of the Global Summit of Women alongside 71 female entrepreneurs from Vietnam and European countries.
The collaboration agreement signed between WeLead and VWFE promises to create numerous opportunities to promote trade and export Vietnamese goods to European countries.
