On June 11, 2024, at the ASEAN Resort in Son Tay, Hanoi, the Network of Trailblazing Women Leaders (WeLead) in collaboration with The Asia Foundation in Vietnam, organized a training session titled “Developing Your Business in the Digital Age” along with a networking event for female entrepreneurs from Thanh Hoa, Ha Nam, Phu Tho, Hanoi, and Thai Binh.
Ms. Nguyen Tung Anh, Deputy Head of the SME Development Department, Agency for Business Development, Ministry of Planning and Investment, attended the event to share information about policies and support programs for women entrepreneurs. Her speech, filled with updated information, was well-received by the attendees who expressed keen interest in learning how to access these resources locally.
Senior lecturer and expert from WeLead, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tung, introduced ways to leverage digital tools in business management, focusing on managing corporate reputation in the digital space. His engaging and practical presentation was highly appreciated by the participants, who expressed a desire for more training sessions like this to help women-led businesses successfully transition to digital platforms.
The gala dinner, a side event of the training program, attracted 77 attendees and featured a vibrant musical program titled “We Sing for Each Other”. The performances, with songs composed and performed by the female entrepreneurs themselves, left a lasting impression on everyone. Inspired by the gala, the Chairwoman of WeLead proposed creating a program called “We Sing for Each Other” which received enthusiastic support from all the female entrepreneurs present.
This initiative is part of the “Enhancing Mental Health Quality for Female Entrepreneurs” program that WeLead, along with its partners, will implement in 2024-2025.
