On September 1st, 2023, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Minh, Founder and Chairwoman of WeLead, along with two Vice Chairwomen, attended a series of events organized by the ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs Network (AWEN) in Jakarta, Indonesia. The events included the 2023 ASEAN Women CEO Forum, the ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs Award Ceremony (AWEN Award), and the AWEN Chairwoman Transfer Ceremony from Indonesia to Cambodia.
Vietnam is honored to have six female entrepreneurs receive the 2023 ASEAN Women Entrepreneur Award (AWEN AWARD), organized by AWEN Indonesia. The awardees are as follows:
- Ms. Do Nguyet Anh, Chairwoman of the Member’s Council of Northern Power Corporation.
- Ms. Dang Thanh Hang, Chairwoman of the Board and General Director of Truong Giang Investment and Services Joint Stock Company.
- Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Lien, Vice Chairwoman of WeLead and Deputy General Director of Sao Thai Duong Joint Stock Company.
- Ms. Le Hong Thuy Tien, General Director of Imex Pan Pacific Group.
- Ms. Trinh Thi Hong Van, Chairwoman of the Board of Khanh Hoa Salanganest Nest Soft Drink Joint Stock Company.
- Ms. Bui Thi Hai Yen, General Director of Hanel Joint Stock Company.
Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, Secretary-General of ASEAN; Mr. Teten Masduki, Minister of Cooperatives and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Indonesia; and Ms. Dyah Anita Prihapsari, the current Chairwoman of AWEN, attended, spoke, and presented awards to these outstanding female entrepreneurs of ASEAN. These entrepreneurs have made significant contributions to innovation, economic development, social security, and the sustainable and inclusive development of each country and the entire region.
