On the occasion of the 1st anniversary of its founding, WELEAD – Network of Trailblazing Women Leaders (WeLead) implemented the WeShare program within the framework of the 2023 Women CEO Forum on September 22, 2023 at Melia Hotel, Hanoi.
The WeShare program is an initiative of the Chairwoman of WeLead to share love in the community - Initially, it was a charity auction to support victims of the fire in a mini appartment on Khuong Ha street, Khuong Dinh ward, Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi.
The 03 products donated to the charity auction are all from the WeLead Board of Directors:
- MPACT's unique, multi-functional design jacket - Vice President Nguyen Thi Quynh Phuong
- "Hoa Ngoc" pearl necklace of Hoang Gia Pearl Joint Stock Company - Vice Chairwoman Doan Bach Phung
- The “Ao Dai” of WeLead Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Tuyet Minh – the first Vietnamese Woman was honored to receive the prestigious ASEAN award due to important contributions to building the ASEAN community, created by designer Lan Huong.
There were tears of delight and sharing coupled with all the love during the auction.
With the leadership of MCs Le Anh and Thy Dung, the auction inspired noble deeds in every person, along with the warm and golden hearts of women entrepreneurs. Each businesswoman participates in the auction not necessarily because they own beautiful/meaningful products, but most importantly because of their loving hearts towards the community. In less than an hour, the auction, and a number of businesswomen who did not participate in the auction but donated more, bringing the amount up to 610,000,000 VND (Six hundred and ten million VND), which will be transferred directly from the winner and female entrepreneurs to the account of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee of Khuong Dinh with the transfer content: "WeLead members support victims of the fire in Khuong Ha" (Women entrepreneurs took screenshots of successful transactions and sent them to WeLead). We believe that although the program's gift is not large, it still contributes to alleviating the pain of victims during times of trouble.
