On August 8th and 9th, 2024, the training program themed “Leveraging Digital Solutions for Lean Enterprise Management” took place at Can Tho Eco Resort, Phong Dien District, Can Tho City. The event was organized by the Network of trailblazing Women Leaders WELEAD (WeLead) and TAF in Vietnam, attracted around 75 participants, including female entrepreneurs from Can Tho, Kien Giang, Bac Lieu, Soc Trang, and Ho Chi Minh City.
The program commenced with a tour of Ecofarm at Can Tho Eco Resort, where participants experienced the ecological environment and sampled regional agricultural products. They also learned about the planning, investment, and business models of orchard tourism and eco-tourism.
That evening, the Gala Dinner "Singing for Each Other" featured meticulously prepared performances and songs celebrating women and the country. This event fostered connections among the female entrepreneurs within the WeLead community, providing them an opportunity to share, relax, and enhance their mental well-being.
On August 9th, the training session began with an opening speech by Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh, representative of TAF in Vietnam. In the first session, the participants listened to Ms. Doan Van Anh, a human resources expert, who shared insights on digital solutions for recruitment, development, and retention of multi-skilled employees. Following this, Mr. Nguyen Tri Thanh, a senior expert at WeLead, presented on the application of digital technology in business and enhancing customer experiences.
After a Q&A session and direct exchanges with the experts, the participants were further enriched by video clips showcasing successful digital transformation stories from ASEAN female entrepreneurs.
The event concluded with a summary and closing remarks by Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Minh, founder and chairwoman of WeLead. The program provided practical and valuable knowledge, helping female entrepreneurs enhance their lean enterprise management skills in the context of ongoing digital transformation.
