WeLead organized the workshop "Enhancing Support Capacity for Enterprises to Implement Sustainable Standards on Environmental Practices, Gender Equality, and Social Inclusion in Business Management" November 26, 2024

On the afternoon of November 26, 2024, WeLead, in collaboration with the Enterprise Development Agency under the Ministry of Planning and Investment and the USAID IPSC project, organized a workshop titled "Enhancing Support Capacity for Enterprises to Implement Sustainable Standards on Environmental Practices, Gender Equality, and Social Inclusion in Business Management". The event took place at the International Conference Center, 37 Hung Vuong, and was attended by over 40 delegates, including officials from business associations and organizations such as the Vietnam General Association of Agriculture, Vietnam Association of Women Intellectuals, HNEW, Hanoi SMEs Association, Craft Village Association, along with experts and representatives of major corporations such as IPPG, PAN Group, Doji Group, Ho Guom Group, and enterprises in agriculture and textile industries, as well as craft villages.

The participants highly appreciated the program and the insights shared by the speakers and experts. Many businesses expressed a desire to receive guidance on using assessment tools, adopting, and maintaining sustainable standards. There was particular interest in obtaining ESG and gender equality certification.

WeLead's initiative was widely praised by partners, experts, and businesses for its collaborative spirit, demonstrated through the establishment of a partner network to jointly support enterprises, especially women-led businesses, in practicing sustainable standards in Vietnam. This effort contributes to the successful implementation of Vietnam's sustainable development commitments and action programs.
