On the occasion of the 1 year anniversary of WeLead's founding, aiming to celebrate Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day October 13 and Vietnamese Women's Day October 20; WELEAD – Network of Trailblazing Women Leaders, coordinates with the Enterprise Development Agency, Ministry of Planning and Investment in cooperation with the Vietnam Improving Private Sector Competitiveness Project (IPSC) funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Agency is the project owner and co-organizer organizing the WOMEN CEO FORUM 2023 with the theme "Creating competitive advantage through Business sustainability for women-led businesses " and Gala Dinner "WeLead – One year journey with Women Entrepreneurs"
The forum shared practical content, core issues of major trends in the world, and suggestions for solutions for women-owned businesses in Vietnam through presentations, analysis and experiences of economic experts and leading CEOs of Vietnam: Ms. Pham Chi Lan, former Vice President of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Mr. Pham Dinh Doan, Chairman of Phu Thai Group; Ms. Le Hong Thuy Tien, CEO of Imex Pan Pacific Group (IPPG); Ms. Nguyen Thi Tra My, CEO of PAN Group and many speakers from Government agencies, international organizations and the private sector.
Gala dinner "WeLead – One year journey with Women Entrepreneurs" was held in a cozy space. WeLead's startup year is full of practical activities: Each task earns a mark!
This year's Gala Dinner also echoed with songs and congratulations with typical ASEAN businesswomen who had just returned from Jakarta, Indonesia. Especially proud to be the winner of the ASEAN Award 2023 - ASEAN Award Cup and cash of 20,000 USD (Twenty thousand US dollars) for important contributions in establishing and operating the ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs Network ( AWEN) is the Chairwoman of WeLead - Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Minh - The first Vietnamese to receive a noble award organized by the Governments of ASEAN countries and awarded by the President of Indonesia - Chairman of ASEAN 2023 in the opening session of the 43rd ASEAN Summit in the presence of ASEAN leaders and the ASEAN Secretary General.
